Participation in tournaments is decided by individual teams. Practice time is decided by the coaches. |
Note: If program registration numbers in the level registered in are inadequate to form a team, in excess of standard team sizes or there are no coaches available for that level we reserve the right to transfer the player(s) to a neighbouring District or refund the registration fees.
LATE REGISTRATIONS (after March 15) are subject to an additional $10 charge, and are ACCEPTED ON ‘SPACE AVAILABLE’ basis. This does not apply to LTP registrations. Ltp registrations will be accepted on a continual basis.
Refunds will be done on a prorated basis.
The amount refunded will be the amount of the registration fee minus a $20.00 administration fee. There will also be an additional fee of $15.00 per week for every week that has passed after indoor practices have started. Crowfoot Fastball requires written notification of withdrawal before any refund will be considered.
Please Note: Due to space restrictions in the Gymnasiums it may be necessary for the teams to have indoor practices on Sundays. These times may conflict with religious services.

Please provide separate cheques for Registration fee and Uniform deposit.
Uniform Deposits: $100.00 can be post dated to July 1, 2012. Cheque is returned (or destroyed ) when uniform is returned following the season. Applies to the Mite category and older.
Please make cheques payable to CROWFOOT FASTBALL ASSOCIATION. Note there will be a $25.00 fee for all NSF Cheques.
Reduced fees for more than two players from the same family will apply.
Third player ˝ the cost of the least expensive registration fee, with no volunteer commitment required for third player.

Mites to Midget players - fee includes cost for team picture, cap, Calgary Minor Softball Association (CMSA) registration, Edgemont Community membership, regular season play and City playoffs. Players that have not played before will be required to provide to Calgary Minor Softball proof of age. IE photocopy of birth certificate, drivers license, or Alberta Health Card, please submit with registration.
LTP level 1 players should be attending ECS ( kindergarten ).
Due to insurance purposes, all players are required to hold a valid Edgemont Community Association membership for 2012 . You can drop your registration form at either the Edgemont Community Association office or Ranchlands Community Association office during registration times above. Registration forms and payments can be mailed before March 15, 2012 . Contact us after this date to inquire is space is available.
Volunteer Commitment
Crowfoot Fastball is a community based and volunteer administered association. We exist to provide a high quality and rewarding softball program for our youth. All families participating in the program are expected to provide volunteer assistance to their team or to the program. A list of team volunteer team responsibilities is included on our registration form. Our program is also administered by a volunteer Board of Directors and we have a significant need for additional participants on our Board. Please thoughtfully consider if you can assist our program by participating on our Board. The time commitment is relatively small - just a few hours per month. Additional information about the volunteer commitment will be available at registration. Any specific questions or interest in serving on our Board of Directors can be directed to Heather at finch@ucalgary.ca Thank-you.
