Crowfoot Fastball 08 Season Windup!

Wow it’s hard to believe the Crowfoot fastball season has come to an end. With 225 players in our program from the Learn to Play to Midget age divisions (ages 5-19) it was a busy year and we had some excellent results. We had seven teams advance to the city championship finals, three of which took the gold. Congratulations to our Peewee Girls Div1, Peewee Girls Div 3, and our Peewee/Bantam – P  boys team. Some of these teams went on to advance to provincials and the Peewee Girls Div 1 team brought home the Gold medal in the Provincial Peewee “C” division. Also some of the boys from the Peewee/Bantam boys teams played on the Calgary Provincial Rockies team that captured the gold in the Bantam “A” division and went on to play in the Western Canadian Championships.

Congratulations to all our fastball players for getting out there, having fun and making this season GREAT!!!

We would also like to thank all of our volunteers who made this year possible we sure couldn’t do it without all of you.

 Thanks everybody!

Crowfoot Fastball 07 Season Windup!

We are coming off our third season of play as one of six districts within Calgary Minor Softball. The 07 season was our most successful to date. We had over two hundred players participating on our 15 teams, of girls and boys.  Players ranged from age five in our Learn to Play program, to nineteen in our midget girls program. We also have teams for all skill levels. Our Learn to Play program, Mites and Squirts, focus on teaching the basics of throwing, hitting, and catching. And for the more advanced. We had teams win city championships at the mite boys, squirt girls, peewee girls, peewee boys, and midget girl’s levels. We also had many teams attend provincials, with the highlights being a bronze in Bantam Girl’s “C’ from our Crowfoot Talons, and gold from our city champion Crowfoot Edge in midget girls ‘C’!
